Locks, Latches and other Extras

Lotus doors normally come with a receiving channel into which the door is held closed. As an optional extra you can choose one of three latch/lock systems:

Other optional extras included curved tracks, aluminium pelmets, alternative fabric colour each side and Double Endpost (opening from both ends).

Colours

Doors are available in a standard range of 20 colours. It may be possible to use vinycloths from other supplier ranges. Consult your Lotus dealer or view colour chart.

Timberline Doors

Lotus can also offer Timberline doors, a quality range of folding door with solid composition timber panels in 10 finishes and in heights up to 3.6m.

Measuring and Ordering

All Lotus folding doors are made to measure. Accurately measure the size of the doorway opening to the nearest millimetre. Height should be from underside of head to top of floor covering and width should be at the top where the track goes from jamb to jamb. If your doorway has doorstops measure between them for the opening width but ALSO give the jamb to jamb width for the pelmet dimensions, see diagram (b) above. The factory will allow for all track and floor clearances. For wide doors, measure the height at both sides and at intervals across the opening and take the shortest measurement. To order, specify dimensions, door type (see above), door layout (eg. single, biparting pair, double endpost), surface material/colour and any extras (e.g. keylock). See above.
